‘Smile Shines Wet’ Directed by Akio Fukushima and edited by Ariadna Fatjo-Vilas has been shortlisted for the Academy Award eligible film festival Short Shorts. The film is about Takashi and his young granddaughter Nayu and how they navigate life together, finding subtle ways to heal and move forward after moving to Kyoto.
